The 2024 “Fifth Li Ang Literary Micro Film Competition” held an award ceremony on the 29th at the Li Ang Collection of National Chung Hsing University. Writer Li Ang was present as the award presenter and also appreciated the innovative adaptations of this year’s contestants. A total of 10 works from the School of Communication of Ming Chuan University participated in the competition, and they won 9 awards including first prize, second place, and popularity award.
“Broken Mirror”, which students in this department participated in the production, chose “The Ghost Who Can’t See the Sky” for adaptation because the social issues faced by women in the original work still resonate even in modern times. “Flowers from the Other Side”, adapted from “Flower Season”, was also selected as a masterpiece.
